This morning we leave Australia and return home. I am sad, and not at all ready to leave.
This trip has been more amazing than I imagined, and full of wonderful experiences. I saw everyone I wanted to see, and made new friends. We visited beautiful places. My speech went well and the conference was a success.
I am leaving with many memories, which will fuel future blog posts. As soon as I am on the plane, I plan to start catching up on my posts about our adventures. I’m excited to share them with you.
Thank you for coming along with me. Australia is a beautiful land, with generous and kind people. And if you ever need a tour guide, I’m happy to volunteer!

Hope your flight home is safe. Glad you had a great time in Oz land. Hope your apartment is all shiny and new when you get back.

Unfortunately, the work was not completed and I came home to a disaster. But, the trip was marvelous. Trying to stay positive.

It doesn’t seem long ago I was wishing you ‘bon voyage’ as you were about to start your trip to Tasmania, and now your latest adventure ‘down under’ is over. As I type this comment, I imagine that maybe Kelly is almost back home but you are still getting there. I do hope the shock of climate changes as you arrive back home won’t be too severe. So glad every part of your holiday was wonderful. All of us live in hope of winning the lottery (even if we don’t have a ticket) so you never know whether there are more trips to Australia in your future. I certainly hope so.

We both made it safely home. My best friend shared a photo with me last night which fit me to a tee. “If traveling were free, you’d never see me again!” It was a wonderful trip, and I’m thrilled you were able to be a part of it!
